subclass 417 or 462 allows young people from eligible countries to work and travel in Australia for up to one or two years, respectively. Benefits include the opportunity to gain work experience, explore Australia’s diverse culture and landscapes, and potentially extend the visa for a second year by completing specified regional work. Eligibility criteria include being aged between 18 and 30 (or 35 for some countries), holding a valid passport from an eligible country, and meeting health and character requirements.
